Canopy Clinical Support

Mission

Canopy’s mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, therapeutic support for all its clients, and to support clinicians and researchers who share that goal.

Values

Canopy firmly supports and upholds BACP’s values and principles, including trustworthiness, respect for client’s autonomy, promoting well-being, avoiding harm, and fostering self-respect.

Counselling

Counselling usually consists of anywhere from three to 20 weekly sessions, depending on what you want. This important work can help you manage day-to-day problems and better understand possible underlying issues.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is longer-term, usually weekly support, that can help you develop lasting change and address issues that you feel would benefit from professional support.

Research Support

Canopy offers research and editorial support at the highest level of academic expertise to clinicians and health researchers. Its research focus is mental health and related issues affecting people up to the age of 25.

How Canopy can help

At present Canopy is not able to take any new clients for therapy support until mid to late April 2025 at the earliest.

Canopy is committed to research support with projects that continue until September 2025, but if you have a research project starting in the new academic year that could benefit from Canopy’s unique skill set then contact us.
